This year July has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. This happens once every 823 years. This is called money bags. So copy this and money will arrive within 4 days. Based on Chinese Feng Shui, the one who does not copy, will be without money. Figured I’d pass this on!

Tumblr is full of a bunch of fucking hypocritical bastards. How fucking dare you blast Liam, and for what? For tweeting a bit randomly? For judging him when none of you have any fucking clue what he’s really like? How can any of you so called ‘fans’ just fucking sit there and not say anything to…

also i think it is a wonderful book because it shows real life for one and tessa actually stands up for herself. he does not abuse her physically but emotionally and honestly who doesnt emotionally abuse people? thats life. he might have been doing it on purpose in the beginning but if you read you see he changes and tries. its not showing little girls that its ok to be pressured into sex. he always asks her if its ok. its better for girls to see the reality than them thinking life is a fairytal

freelyharry answered:

I’m sorry but did you just say that emotional abuse happens to everyone? Do you even know what emotional abuse is? It’s not ‘life’ it’s a form of abuse and it’s gets taken very seriously, just as seriously as physical abuse. By what you’re telling me it seems like you’re not aware of emotional abuse so let me break it down for you:

Emotional abuse can have devastating consequences on both physical and mental health. While emotional or psychological abuse may be difficult to pinpoint, examples abound. Here are some characteristics:

  • Using economic power to control you
  • Threatening to leave
  • Making you afraid by using looks, gestures or actions
  • Smashing things
  • Controlling you through minimizing, denying and blaming
  • Making light of the abuse and not taking your concerns about it seriously
  • Continually criticizing you, calling you names, shouting at you
  • Emotionally degrading you in private, but acting charming in public
  • Humiliating you in private or public
  • Withholding approval, appreciation or affection as punishment

Does your partner:

  • humiliate or yell at you?
  • criticize you and put you down?
  • treat you so badly that you’re embarrassed for your friends or family to see?
  • ignore or put down your opinions or accomplishments?
  • blame you for their own abusive behavior?
  • see you as property or a sex object, rather than as a person?

Does your partner:

  • have a bad and unpredictable temper?
  • hurt you, or threaten to hurt or kill you?
  • threaten to take your children away or harm them?
  • threaten to commit suicide if you leave?
  • force you to have sex?
  • destroy your belongings?

Does your partner:

  • act excessively jealous and possessive?
  • control where you go or what you do?
  • keep you from seeing your friends or family?
  • limit your access to money, the phone, or the car?
  • limit your access to money, the phone, or the car?
  • constantly check up on you?

Now as you can hopefully see, an emotionally abusive relationship involves many things, and I hope you can recognise some of the things in this list that happen in After because I know that I can. And yes I’m aware that he doesn’t force her into sex, but young teenagers reading this might think it is ok/normal to be forced into sex if they’re reading about how an emotionally abusive relationship is ok/normal. “its better for girls to see the reality than them thinking life is a fairytale”, this is where you’re so wrong. Emotionally abusive relationships are reality yes, but they’re not meant to be a reality, they shouldn’t happen. Most relationships I know are like a fairytale, or on the lines of one. They meet, they get together, they fall in love, they have their arguments and ups and downs but they’re happy in the end. If neither partner in the relationship is not happy then they need to get out of that relationship, it’s not healthy.
